My Family Traditions Christmas is my favorite time of year besides my birthday. My birthday is in November so it's pretty close to Christmas anyways. I have quite a few traditions on Christmas. I will share my some of my favorite ones. On Christmas Eve the night starts out by my whole family eating dinner at my grandmas house. We have ham and cheese sandwiches, but i jsut have a pb&j. Then we all go to church. We sing with the whole church and we get in a huge circle with candles lit, and sing Silent Night. My brothers always mess around with the wax in the candles. I always remember that part. After church on Christmas Eve we go all around town and look at Christmas lights. We go to one certain house every year. It is in a pretty big neighborhood Its the house that says "Grandmas coming to town". After we look at lights, we go back to my grandma and grandpas and we open presents, and my Aunt is coming home this year and she lives in Idaho! So I'm very excited about that! After we open presents and hang out with the family that night, we all go home. I sleep in my brother Brandon's room on the floor. We all sleep downstairs. Brandon has a fiance this year so I might be sleeping in Blakes room. I have set my alarm for 7:05 every year, I never sleep anyways christmas night! Who does? I wake everyone up in the whole house I wake up my parents first and they say go wake up your brothers! So I wake them up and they beg to stay asleep for a long time! Then my parents get ready and we all wake up and go see what Santa brought us! We open up all of our presents and my brother Brandon always has Chocolate milk that morning. Blake and I just start eating all of our favorite candies that we get! We normally get a few toys to mess around with which is always fun! Then after having a great morning, we eat lunch with the whole family one of the best meals of the year! I spend the whole day with my wonderful family, I wouldn't ask for a better Christmas.
